My skills
Writing
My writing experience is incredibly varied: from short and informative news stories to long, feature-style pieces and client-led copywriting projects. I can comfortably adapt my writing style to suit a variety of different formats.
Photography
My interest in photography has continued to develop since my high school days (which seem like a lifetime ago now!). I have accumulated a collection of cameras and various equipment, and this has allowed me to understand the fundamentals of photography. My images have even accompanied my published written work in a local newspaper. This skill has also benefitted me when I organised company photo shoots and managed various social media accounts.
Editing
As well as assisting with editing manuscripts during my time with a publishing house, I have also proofed and provided feedback on features and client profiles as a magazine editor and in the communications industry.
